JPMorgan Chase uses eSigna.NET to Ease Transition to In-House Processing
HOUSTON, TEXAS - December 2008 - JPMorgan Chase uses eSigna.NET to ease into the process of managing check clearing in-house.
JPMorgan Chase (JPMC) announced in Q1 of 2008 that they would move away from having Integrated Payment Solutions clear checks issued and bring the process in-house. This change in process was an enormous project that impacted retail and back room processing centers.
JPMC contacted 3Core Software to determine how this process could be streamlined and what efforts would be involved. In order to comply with the overall project, extensive changes would be made to user security controls, system integrations, and document controls. Almost every facet of eSigna.NET would be employed in order to satisfy project requirements.
Throughout 2008, 3Core Software and JPMC worked side-by-side to arrange system settings, document design and layout, and import/export utilities. In the end, 3Core Software was able to assist JPMC's processing centers (spanning coast to coast) not only within eSigna.NET but by enhancing reconciliation processes through system-to-system integrations.
